Clinical Supervision for Pre-Licensed Therapists

Becoming a licensed therapist is one of the most demanding professional journeys there is. You are learning to hold space for some of the most complex human experiences - while simultaneously navigating the administrative, emotional, and professional weight of pre-licensure.

You deserve supervision that takes that seriously.

Who I supervise

  • I offer individual clinical supervision via telehealth to pre-licensed therapists across California, including:

    • MSW interns completing their supervised field hours

    • Associate Clinical Social Workers (ACSWs) working toward LCSW licensure

    • Marriage and Family Therapist Associates (MFTs) - LCSWs are approved supervisors for MFTs in California

What Supervision With Me Looks Like

Every supervision relationship starts with understanding where you are — your cases, your clinical strengths, and the areas where you’re still building confidence. From there, each session is tailored to what you actually need.

  • This might include:

    • Case consultation and clinical conceptualization

    • Documentation support and progress note review

    • Navigating ethical and legal considerations

    • Building your clinical identity and theoretical framework

    • Processing the emotional weight of pre-licensure

  • I also make space for the parts of pre-licensure nobody talks about enough: the imposter syndrome, the compassion fatigue, the moments of genuine doubt. You don’t have to hold those alone.
